This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. This position has a Screen-out Element: I have the ability to perform common tasks including 1) Work with high voltage equipment and systems ranging up to 34,500 volts; 2) Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning components associated with a general purpose digital computer control systems and electrical utility controls systems; 3) Read and interpret drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams and manufacturing specification and manuals; and 4) Use test equipment (oscilloscopes, voltmeters and ohmmeters and interface equipment to computer systems . I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
