The lyrics of the song, Kozhi veda kozhi … were penned by Viveka and the music was set by Devi Sri Prasad.

The boy compares the girl’s love to the pecking of a chick – the bird – don’t get wrong ideas. 🙂

Video – Kozhi veda kozhi

Cinematography is by A Venkatesh. Dance choreography is by Vishnudeva.

The video opens with Jeyum Ravi beginning to dance to the music beats and Trisha joining him. Other artists are also present in the video, supporting the pair. Some artists with Trisha take on the dress of chicken and continue to dance with them.

Soon, the song abruptly and Jeyum Ravi is seen running to Trisha’s home with the good news that he had won the bet. With that the video also ends.

Artists

Naveen and Priya Himesh have sung this song for Jeyum Ravi and Trisha. Other artists are also featured in the video.

Cultural Influence

According to me, there’s no direct influence of any culture on this song. Though the song and the dance may have a hint of the Tamil Nadu desi flavor, it has been influenced by kuttu paattu to some extent. But beats are too fast for the rhythm of a kuttu. Love the dance so much. I feel like matching steps with Jeyum Ravi. The song and the artists are good. The video is watchable for the same.
