Cinematography by V Ratra. Dance choreographed by Zohra Sehgal.

The video opens with the stage curtains being pulled aside and Geeta Bali brings a fishing net and swings it in front of the camera, beginning to sing this song. Then, she pulls the net very gracefully toward herself and throws it away.

She begins to dance with the lyrics. Dev Anand observes her from the revolving door and on entering he gets mesmerized by her. She traps him in the net and leaves him, as the song and the video end at the audience’s applause.

Artists

Shamshad Begum sang this song for Geeta Bali and Dev Anand and Rashid Khan are also seen in the video among other actors.

Cultural Influence

I don’t find the influence of any culture on this song. The song and the artists are good. The video is watchable for the sme.
