Qualification Summary
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: BACHELOR’S DEGREE from an accredited college or university in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, organizational or program management, or a related field appropriate to the work of position AND THREE YEARS of experience in the occupation, or a related field or work area, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill to solicit, award, administer, and analyze complex, high-dollar government-related procurements requiring source selection procedures equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Experience in executing information technology contract requirements and professional service contract requirements. Knowledge of procurement regulations, contract law, and acquisition planning; Knowledge of government and/or commercial procurement practices. Knowledge of government procurement policies and procedures. Knowledge of contract administration. Demonstrated track record of problem solving and process improvement, ability to function in a collaborative manner with staff at all levels of the organization. Skill to operate a personal computer and associated equipment to produce work using software programs such as word processing, spreadsheet, and automated purchasing systems. Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal presentation skills. This position is designated as a Position of Trust, and the incumbent must be eligible for a background check. Appointment and continued employment is subject to a favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background check. Must file an annual Confidential Financial Disclosure report (OGE form 450)
