Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience demonstrating a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities equipment, rules and procedures which involves recreational work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned; ability and skill in dealing with the public. Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of a limited range of woodworking materials, techniques and processes. Skill in basic layout procedures for repetitive assignments; skill in uses of a variety of hand and power tools such as drills, hammers, miter box, frame cutters and corner jigs is highly desired. Must be able to stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time. Must be physically able to lift and carry items up to and including 20 pounds and frequently lift and move heavier items with the assistance of other workers. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must satisfactorily complete installation records checks, and state and national criminal background checks (Tier 1). Must be able to satisfactorily pass a drug test. “This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.”
