Qualification Summary
Military Requirements: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military grade in the D.C. Air National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the D.C. Air National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. If you are not sure you are eligible for military membership, please contact the National Guard customer service prior to applying for this position at 1(800) GO-GUARD (1800-464-8273); 7 days/ week from 7:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. CST. Military Grades: Enlisted: SSgt/E-5 Compatible Military Skill Assignment (AFSC): 2F071 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and to safely operate the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience or training operating, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting and overhauling fuel systems and components. Experience or training initiating and controlling the movement and storage of fuel supplies by operating high pressure systems with a series of terminals connected by cross-country pipelines or multi-fuel storage and distribution facilities connected by a network of internal pipelines. An applicant’s RESUME must provide, in detail, how they meet the specialized experience listed. 3. It must be documented with “from (mm/yy)” and “to (mm/yy)” dates and description of the specialized experience. 4. If education or a degree is required as part of the “Specialized Experience”, you must include transcripts. Do not copy the specialized experience qualifications word for word and place into your resume; you must describe your personal experience as it pertains to each statement. *Other Requirements – For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver’s license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
