Grain dryer/centrifugal fans
These Grain Dryer Motors range in horsepower from 1 to 50, and their shafts are one inch longer than NEMA requirements. These motors have grease that is high-temperature and moisture-resistant. These Open Drip Proof (ODP) Motors include screens to stop trash and other debris from entering. These TEFC enclosure motors have sealed bearings that are permanently lubricated.
Grain dryer/vane axial fans
These motors can be found in OPAO (Open Air Over) or TEAO (Totally Enclosed Air Over) and range in power from 1 1/2 to 15 hp. These motors’ shafts are keyed, drilled, and tapped with an internal 1/4 – 20 tap that is 1″ deep. They are also 3/4″ longer than NEMA standards. For simple conduit connectivity, there is additionally a convenient lead location.
Universal Crop Dryer
These grain dryer motors are among the best available for the agricultural industries and have many benefits over other motors. The motors are specifically made to work with vane axial crop dryers. High full load efficiency, no mechanical switches to wear out and no noise or vibration from regeneration are all features of these motors, which help to lower running costs.
The motors come in TEAO (Totally Enclosed Air Over) and OPAO (Open Air Over) configurations. This motor has a smooth start, Class F insulation, and is less susceptible to voltage changes. The motors’ shafts are 3/4″ longer than NEMA requirements. There is a single-phase permanent split capacitor (switchless) in addition to the normal thermostats in these motors. Power ranges for these motors are 5 to 15 horsepower.
