To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: GS-7: 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement or 1 year of specialized experience (see examples below) equivalent to at least GS-5 grade level. GS-9: Master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related or 1 year of specialized experience (see examples below) equivalent to at least GS-7 grade level. GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related or 1 year of specialized experience (see examples below) equivalent to at least GS-9 grade level. Examples of Specialized Experience: GS-7: Assessing the productivity, effectiveness and efficiency of program operations; working with software packages to develop presentation materials that includes handouts, overheads and/or participant materials; Assisting in the study of work procedures, functions and management initiatives. GS-09: Support the on-going sustainability for health care facility certification, accreditation and licensure surveys. Research experience with data analysis, survey design and administration; analysis and evaluation of work processes and policies. Perform management practices and work operations of complex, legislative, programmatic, or management issues and problems. Analyze management practices, methods, and administrative operation of an organization, retrieve/compile/maintain data related to compliance. Strategic Initiatives planning with regards to program development; perform data validation and accountability checks to ensure adherence to plan accountability matrix. Effective customer service and communication of information with recommendations either orally or in writing with supervisors, staff, and program directors. GS-11: Develop, implement and maintain a compliance and/or business program. Maintain an awareness of laws and regulations. Coordinate and provide training and educational programs. Interact with management, government agencies, contractors, and other employees. Coordinate investigations and ensures corrective action plans are developed and utilized. Provide periodic reports to leadership and management staff detailing initiatives and recommendations for improvement. Establish, manage and evaluate Strategic Initiatives planning with regards to program development; perform data validation and accountability checks to ensure adherence to plan accountability matrix. Provide technical advice, develop and recommend operation policies and procedures. Implement study methods to evaluate the efficiency of complex program operations; strategic planning with regards to program development; perform data validation and quality control checks to ensure adherence to study protocols. Provides briefings, written reports, and other feedback to executive leadership pertaining to compliance of business operations and medical practices. Use qualitative and quantitative methods to assess progress toward Strategic Plan and program goals and objectives. NOTE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels and positions for which both education and experience are acceptable. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
