Qualification Summary
All qualification requirements must be met within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Specialized Experience – Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-15 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-15 grade level in the private sector in defined benefit insurance programs, including both Single and Multiemployer Plan Insurance Programs. Examples include providing financial, actuarial or legal analyses of underfunded plans; monitoring, negotiating, and/or litigating with plan sponsors to preserve plans and control risk exposure; facilitating the preservation of benefits under multiemployer plans; and initiating standard terminations of fully funded single employer plans.
