Today’s first post is Top 20 Tamil Songs – October 14, 2022. This article is a listicle of the topmost 20 popular Punjabi songs liked by fans this week. There is no change in the song sequence this week. I have mentioned the previous and current positions beside the songs in the list.
For today, let’s consider the song, Veera soora… sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja for the movie Naane Varuven (2022). The video looked like a promotional video of the movie with some credits being mentioned in the course of it. There were mostly scenes from the forest where Dhanush is seen smoking away or shooting with a rifle. Now, these shots are partly animated and partly really shot. I have seen these kinds of videos being made for Hindi songs as well, which I guess is just picking up as a trend. At some places, the video shows the behind the scenes view during the shooting of the movie.
The movie looks like another venture that elevates the male protagonist to a larger-than-life character. Honestly, I don’t like such movies and believe that they do not have much substance in them. For me, the story of a movie can revolve around the hero. But the hero should be some person like in the Bollywood movies, Anand (1971) and Chupke Chupke (1975). These are just examples. Substance. A good storyline is what I like.
