Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS- 11 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience 1) Developing physical security policies, procedures, and plans, AND 2) developing methods to improve security methods and procedures, AND 3) evaluating physical security operations for vulnerability and postulated threat, AND 4) prepares written reports and command correspondence on a broad range of physical security related issues. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Manages and Organizes InformationPhysical SecurityPlanning and EvaluatingSecurity Program Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). As a current Federal employee in the competitive service with career or career-conditional status, you may apply for this temporary/term position and will automatically be considered as a reinstatement eligible. You will be converted from your permanent appointment to the non-status, time-limited appointment without a break in service and will carry all of your current federal benefits with you (e.g. retirement, TSP, health and life).
