MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state’s National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be MOS qualified within 12 months from date of appointment. Maximum Military Grade – Warrant Officer: CW3 (W-3) Enlisted: SGM (E-9) Warrant Officer – Branch 12, 13, 14, 19, 25, 91, 92, 94, or MOS 882A Enlisted – CMF12, 13, 14, 19, 25, 88, 91, 92 or 94 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which demonstrates knowledge of equipment to be able to do routine jobs, simple preventative maintenance tasks, and able to use common tools and equipment in the line of work. WG-11 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 18 months of specialized experience which demonstrates your experience in diagnosing, repairing, overhauling and modifying interconnected complex systems on a variety of combat, tactical, commercial, special purpose vehicles and equipment. Experience must also demonstrate broad knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, and repair. Experience in the use of technical manuals, and maintenance directives and publications as they relate to repair and inspection of equipment. Experience which reflects accurate use of blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc. Experience in production control, work schedule planning, development and implementation of procedures, interpreting technical data, etc.
