Qualification Summary

This position will be filled on a permanent basis. Initial overseas tour is for one (1) year unaccompanied with possible extensions up to five (5) years. This position is unaccompanied. Furnished off-base housing will be provided. Domicile to duty transportation will be provided at no cost to employees. In addition to your salary, incentive payments may be authorized. Incentives may be in effect at the beginning of the first pay period after you arrive at your duty location and may be paid in biweekly installments throughout the period of service. Incentives are contingent on approval by the authorized official and execution of a written service agreement requiring a specified period of employment of not less than 6 months or more than 4 years with the agency in return for payment of the incentive. You may be required as a condition of employment to take the series of vaccine immunizations to include annual boosters. May include other immunizations that may be required for this position/for a position you may fill as an emergency essential alternate. Failure to take immunizations may lead to your removal from position or separation from Federal service. Selection for assignments to this position will require annual physical examinations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes: experience analyzing contractor’s performance to determine contract compliance; experience analyzing market conditions supporting the acquisition of major services and purchases; experience providing advice and guidance on contract acquisition policies and procedures; and experience preparing and reviewing acquisition reports. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
