Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience:
Must have 6 months previous experience and a thorough knowledge about maintaining/repairing bicycles and ski/snowboarding equipment.
Current certification in one area (bicycle or ski/snowboard) may be used to qualify while being trained on the job for certification in the other area.
Must be able to read and understand service manuals for equipment. Must keep current on product models and be familiar with up to date equipment styles, teaching/training methods, and safety practices. Must be physically able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs, and occasionally push/pull objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
