Qualification Summary
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates for this position will be evaluated under the federal wage system job grading standards. No specific length of experience is required. Applicants will be rated on their knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position. We encourage you to be clear, detailed, and specific when describing your work experience in your resume. Your resume must demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and abilities in performing the following types of tasks without more than normal supervision: WG-10:
Complex industrial/commercial process operations or power plant operations, including performing set-ups and adjustments required to produce results conforming to design specifications; documenting, log-taking, and interpreting of logged values for the purpose of conducting trend analysis, and determining compliance to specifications or determining overall operational efficiency of the process or system; understanding and troubleshooting electronics/controls systems; determining suitable repair parts; meeting system design specifications; mechanical experience in tearing-down, cleaning, and inspecting operating parts for wear/damage, and making recommendations for and/or performing change-out of these parts. Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 80lbs. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
