QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. Work experience directly related to the duties described above managing complex, multi-million dollar procurements requiring source selection procedures.
Extensive knowledge of procurement regulations, contract laws, acquisition planning; Government and commercial procurement practices, contract policies and procedures; and knowledge and skill in negotiation techniques.
Possess proven leadership and customer service abilities, and the ability to meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess or be able to obtain Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) II/III in contracting or other applicable professional certification.
Must have excellent organizational skills; be highly skilled in written and verbal communications; especially presentation skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other related software as required.
Preferred are those candidates who also possess a bachelor’s degree and CPCM, DAWIA II/III in contracting, or other applicable professional certification.
In addition to the above, highly-qualified candidates will possess at least one full year of experience working with federal architect/engineer or construction contracting.
