OFFICER: O5-O6 Supervisor for this position is Col Lehew Manpower # 00868946 *NOTE: Accessioning into this position is contingent upon verification of Secret Security Clearance GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training interpreting, explaining, and/or applying a variety of regulations and procedures. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must indicate 36 months experience, education, or training routine and non-routine preflight, in-flight, post-flight, ground or command and control (C2) duties according to specific transportation functions. Receives, interprets, extracts, and disseminates relevant data for mission planning or execution. Experience coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES: Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements will be further evaluated by the nominating supervisor based on the following competencies considered essential to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. – Knowledge of air campaign strategy, combat plans, combat operations and the integration of Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Division (ISRD) assets required for successful execution. – Knowledge of all Air Force Weapon Systems and their capabilities, as well as a clear understanding of the systems and capabilities of other DOD components, NATO nations, and other coalition partners. – Knowledge is required to sustain the development and execution of a daily Air Tasking Order for a minimum of 30 days at 500 missions per day. QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE: Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates’ experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant’s record of experience, training, and education must show possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position to be filled. SPECIAL NOTE: Per the Labor Relations Management Agreement if there are more than 15 qualified applicants for each position, by category, a KSA board will be convened in accordance with Section 17.8 of the LMRA.
