In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing training to medical staff on medical laboratory testing principles, practices, methods, or procedures; 2) Managing necessary personnel to provide guidance on work involving clinical laboratory testing; 3) Responding to external proficiency testing findings pertaining to blood bank activities to support laboratory operations; and 4) Validating, operating, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory instruments and equipment used in medical laboratory’s blood bank organization to support operations.
