Qualification Summary
SELECTIVE FACTOR – All positions and grade levels are required to possess: Valid State Driver’s License: You must possess and maintain a current and valid state Drivers License SELECTIVE FACTORS – If you do not possess the required licenses for a duty location, as specified below, you will be rated ineligible for that location. You MUST provide a copy of each license you possess at the time of application. The license requirements below are abbreviated with the following: Water Distribution Operator License represented by a “D”; Water Treatment Operator License represented by a “T”; Wastewater Treatment Operator License represented by a “WW”; Commercial Class A Driver’s License: “CDL”. If required for the duty location, you must possess a Backflow Prevention Certification OR you must obtain this certification within 6 months of entry on duty. Locations in the Backcountry Utilities WG-8: D-1, T-1; WG 10: D-1, T-2, CDL Locations in the El Portal Utilities WG-8: D-1, T-1, WW 1; WG-10: D-1, T-1, WW 2, Backflow Prevention Locations in Yosemite Valley Utilities WG-8: D-1, T-1; WG-10: D-1, T-2, CDL(on some positions), Backflow Prevention Locations in the Wawona Utilities WG-8: D-1, T-1, WW1; WG-10: D-1, T-2, WW2, Backflow Prevention, CDL (on some positions) To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT)Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprints reading)Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and EquipmentKnowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc.Knowledge of materialsTechnical Practices (theoretical precise, artistic)Use of Measuring Instructions If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.
