Qualification Summary

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: At least 4-years of experience in contracting or related positions. At least 1 year of that experience must have been specialized experience at or equivalent to work at the next lower grade level and must demonstrate experience that includes evaluation cost and/or price proposals, contract changes, contract pricing, reviewing auditor data, and participation in negotiations on a cost and/or price issues. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: Time-In-Grade/Band: Current federal employees must meet time-in-grade/pay band requirements to be eligible for consideration. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade/band any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade/pay band requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. For an NQ-03 position you must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or equivalent. The grade /pay band may have been in any occupation, and must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade/pay band eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide additional SF-50s that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade/pay band. Full-time or part-time status (include hours worked per week) Salary Executive Order (EO) 14043 requires Federal employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee’s duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work), subject to such exceptions as required by law. At this time, EO 14043 is subject to a preliminary nationwide injunction. Although this injunction may ultimately be supplemented, modified, or vacated, depending on the course of ongoing litigation, the Federal Government will take no action at this time to implement or enforce EO 14043’s requirement that employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. However, as Federal agencies may request information regarding the vaccination status of selected applicants for the purposes of implementing other workplace safety protocols, such as protocols related to masking, physical distancing, testing, travel, and quarantine, the selectee(s) for this position will be required to submit information about his/her vaccination status. Providing a knowing and willful false statement on either DOE’s COVID-19 Vaccination Form prior to starting or when providing proof of vaccination in DOE’s vaccination tracking system once onboard is punishable by fine and/or imprisonment (18 U.S.C. 1001) and will result in termination from Federal service.
