Today’s post is Singer KK Dies at 53. Born Krishnakumar Kunnath on August 23, 1968; Singer KK debuted with ad jingles and then in 1999 with a private album Pal. Compared to other lost music artists, I had the good fortune to meet Singer KK at his home in Mumbai. It turned out that he and his family used to live near my then home, some years before our meeting. He was a very interesting person. He never took calls on his mobile. Post a few frustrating tries, I called his home. His wife, Jyothi, helped me get in touch with him by passing on my message. He is a music artist to reckon with and will remain in the minds of the Indian cinema goers and music fans for quite a few years to come. Let peace be to you, Bro and let Jyothi and their kids have the strength to endure this loss.
