Mohammad Rafi Sings for Lakshmi-Pyare

Today’s third post is Mohammad Rafi Sings for Lakshmi-Pyare. Another nexus that has been one of the most popular and the greatest is that between Mohammad Rafi Sahab and Lakshmi-Pyare or Lakshmikant-Pyarelal or LP. The music duo, Lakshmi-Pyare, made the legendary singer perform from the beginning of the former’s career, i.e., from Parasmani (1963). They bagged the Filmfare Award for Chaahoonga main tujhe saanjh sawere… from Dosti (1964). Mohommad Rafi Sahab sang the maximum number of songs for Lakshmi-Pyare (388), in comparison to those with the other music composers. Here are some of my favorite Bollywood songs coming out of their association. I hope you like them.
