Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below. Time in grade: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. GS-11: Specialized experience is defined as advising on the practices of government or private sector residential mortgage banking policies, procedures, and loan services. Implementing complex mortgage, or commercial loan making/servicing and credit principles and practices. Analyzing applications and corporate financial documents to maintain servicing activities for mortgage or commercial loans. Analyzing financial information provided by loan applicants to determine eligibility for loans. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or LL.M., if related OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree directly related to the work of this position as described in the vacancy announcement. OR Combination of graduate level education (as described above) beyond the second full year of graduate level education and specialized experience that together meets the qualification requirements for this position.
