Qualification Summary
Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. An applicant’s eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 07/18/2022 Business Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience:
Must have responsible experience in clerical, office, cash handling, or retail sales store work of any kind which demonstrates the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Must possess a current American Red Cross Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and first aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire. Must be able to lift object weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination. Must be able to read, speak, and write English and communicate effectively with patrons. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier I Investigation (Tl). This is a position of trust. This is a position that has been only assigned under the TMOA under the fitness center.
