Applications received by 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on the cut-off date of 4/19/2022 will receive first consideration for this vacancy. Depending on staffing needs a 2nd cut-off date may be used. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate 5 years of graduate training in the specialty of the position to be filled or equivalent experience and training. This experience/training will provide comprehensive pediatric medical care to a broad range of patients from birth to young adulthood with both common and complex medical concerns; care includes diagnosis, prevention, therapy, maintenance and rehabilitation for enrolled patients within the scope of clinical privileges; will also serve as a recognized expert, consultant, faculty member, and/ or advisor on boards and committees, in conferences, and other activities. Applicants must also be able to satisfy clinical privileges requirements which, in addition to the above, includes the following: Completion of a residency program in the specialty approved by the American specialty board or AOA, board certification, or board eligible Completion of a fellowship program in the specialty approved by the American specialty board or AOA, board certification, or board eligible Current clinical competence (e.g., privileged to independently practice a Pediatric Physician within the past 2 years, actively practiced within the past 2 years by having encountered a sufficient number of clinical cases to represent a broad spectrum of the privileges required) No health status contraindications to granting clinical privileges Board certification is desired but not required SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: This position have selective placement factors that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factors are: Possession of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Certification Possession of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Healthcare Providers Certification Possession of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers Certification Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management websites:
