To qualify for this position at the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level close to the defined duties that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform this job. Examples of specialized experience include: serving in a leading role for one or more concurrent reviews; conducting extensive research and preparing detailed analyses and written documents; evaluating internal and external policy; evaluating agency programs for efficiency and effectiveness; recommending organizational or process changes and monitoring implementation of those recommendations; and reviewing and providing feedback on the work assignments of others. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade level (or equivalent).
