Qualification Summary
** As required by Executive Order 14043, Federal employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee’s duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law. If selected, you will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit documentation of proof of vaccination by November 22, 2021 or before appointment or onboarding with the agency, if after November 22. The agency will provide additional information regarding what information or documentation will be needed and how you can request of the agency a legally required exception from this requirement. **
___________________________________________________________________ To you qualify at the GS-12 level, you must possess one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at least equivalent to a GS-11 IT Specialist position that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Examples include applying knowledge of IT infrastructure support to include data structure, operating systems, software applications, and reviewing audit log events; developing plans for installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining IT Systems with little guidance or supervision; administering and securing computer operating systems and/or network devices; and examining computers that have been subject to common adversary tactics, techniques and attack vectors. To qualify at the GS-13 level, you must possess one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at least equivalent to a GS-12 IT Specialist position that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Examples include applying knowledge of IT infrastructure support to include data structure, operating systems, software applications, and reviewing audit log events; developing plans for installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining IT Systems with little guidance or supervision, administering and securing computer operating systems and/or network devices and advising senior managers on critical issues; and examining computers that have been subject to common adversary tactics, techniques and attack vectors. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade level (or equivalent).
