Today’s second post is Mohammad Rafi sings for R D Burman. Both legends – Mohammad Rafi and R D Burman, collaborated only for a few songs. Composer Rahul Dev Burman’s favorite was usually Kishore Kumar and most of his compositions were for the latter. However, the few songs Panchamda composed for Mohammad Rafi Sahab were ammmazingly sung by the stalwart singer! Here are some of my favorites. I hope you like them.
