Qualification Summary
Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision.
Ability to supervise, develop and lead a diverse workforce in an overseas environment.** Knowledge of financial management practices and procedures.** Ability to manage the full range of collection development activities in a major research library.** Ability to communicate in writing in performing supervisory or leader work. Knowledge of the application of the principles, concepts, and techniques of library science in an automated environment. Ability to analyze, plan and execute library programs and projects. Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing through briefings, consultations, and one on one.
