Qualification Summary
For the GS-08: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: at an advanced level, governing instructions, technical manuals and written procedures for radiation survey equipment; procedures required for responding to a radiological event involving a contaminated person; the formats and procedures used for personnel whole body monitoring and free release counting; the formats and procedures used for radiation area monitoring and skill in operating radiation survey equipment in support of shipyard operations. For the GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: at an intermediate level, governing instructions, technical manuals and written procedures for radiation survey equipment; procedures required for responding to a radiological event involving a contaminated person; the formats and procedures used for personnel whole body monitoring and free release counting; the formats and procedures used for radiation area monitoring and skill in operating radiation survey equipment in support of shipyard operations.
