In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year or more of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of HUMINT policy, doctrine, strategy, and equities regarding planned HUMINT operations in order to conduct and manage Military Source Operations (MSO) Category I/II activities; and, experience conducting HUMINT MSO Category I/II intelligence related training. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-13). Specialized experience is progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data. Selective Placement Factor: Must be a graduate of at least one Category I HUMINT MSO course. In order to verify applicants meet the selective placement factor, applicants are required to submit a copy of completed training certificate, DD 214s reflecting completion of the course via block 14 – Military Education, or signed completed Service School Academic Evaluation Report form. Failure to submit this required documentation will result in an ineligible rating. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
