Qualification Summary
For GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
or
Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-09, in the Federal Service.
Specialized experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and actual experience to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position. Specialized experience include at least 3 of the following: Experience analyzing fiscal and administrative practices, policies, functions, and programs.
Experience extracting, compiling, analyzing and preparing information to internal and external audiences.
Experience analyzing financial reports and systems to determine adequacy of internal controls for compliance.
Experience supporting reviews of financial systems and data, including preparing written documentation of results.
Experience using office automation software applications, charts, graphics and electronic mail to research, create and communicate. (ex. Microsoft Office, Access, Excel and Word).IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC. WE WILL NOT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS REGARDING YOUR EXPERIENCE. For GS-12:

Specialized experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and actual experience to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position. Specialized experience include at least 4 of the following: Experience analyzing fiscal and administrative practices, policies, functions, and programs and advising managers on changing operations.
Ability to select and analyze data, draw conclusions, develop a recommended course of action and to identify ramifications.
Experience analyzing financial reports and systems to determine adequacy of internal controls, including testing financial systems for compliance
Experience extracting, compiling, analyzing and preparing information for various reports, briefings, and conferences.
Experience preparing written documentation on results of reviews of financial systems and data.
Experience organizing work, setting priorities, and determining resource requirements to monitor progress and evaluate outcomes of short and long term goals and strategies for programs.
Skill in computer-related systems and software application program tools (word; power point; excel; access, etc.) in order to generate reports and accomplish analytical assignments.IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC. WE WILL NOT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS REGARDING YOUR EXPERIENCE.
