Qualification Summary
For the GS-11 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Analyzing cost and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization’s programs and administrative operations;
2) Reviewing and evaluating budget requests;
3) Providing reports of financial obligations and expenditures. For the GS-12 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Formulating budgets and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities;
2) Presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities;
3) Reviewing and evaluating budget requests; control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures;
4) Developing, determining, and interpreting budgetary policies and practices.
