In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, the resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which includes and prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defines as: Experience utilizing a number of computer software packages in the performance of assigned duties which may include, but are not limited to: Word processing, database management, electronic mail, the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), ARPERCEN Orders and Resources System (AORS), Personnel Electronic Management System (iPERMS), Reserve Data Management System (RDMS), Total Army Personnel Data Base-Reserve (TAPDB-R), Integrated Work Stations (IWS), Soldier Management System (SMS) and automated form packages. Please be clear and specific when describing your experience. We are unable to make assumptions about your experience. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-06). Position may be filled as a TEMPORARY Promotion or TEMPORARY Reassignment NTE 12 months/1 year by a current permanent Army employee. TEMPORARY Promotions or Reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years, and may be made permanent without further competition. Position may be filled as a TEMPORARY Appointment NTE 12 months/1 year, if the candidate is not a current permanent Army employee.
