Qualification Summary
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience: for this position includes:
experience preforming work developing plans or contingencies for emergency or crisis management of an organization. Examples of this could include:
-Experience leading and implementing emergency management and planning, continuity of operations, and continuity of government or corporate activities. OR
-Experience directing and leading process improvement and team building. OR
-Experience with critical infrastructure and workforce protection activities. For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience: for this position includes:
experience preforming research regarding emergency management and planning to develop policies or procedures for review by management. Examples of this could include:
-Experience with composing policies or regulations regarding emergency management and planning, continuity of operation, and continuity of government or corporate activities, in conjunction with best practices, for review and adoption by higher authorities. OR
-Experience with participating in process improvement and team building or leading a leg or major component of a project. OR
-Experience training staff in emergency preparedness.
