Qualification Summary
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience: for this position includes: experience preforming work developing plans or contingencies for emergency or crisis management of an organization. Examples of this could include:
-Experience leading and implementing emergency management and planning, continuity of operations, and continuity of government or corporate activities. OR
-Experience directing and leading process improvement and team building. OR
-Experience with critical infrastructure and workforce protection activities. For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience: for this position includes: experience preforming research regarding emergency management and planning to develop policies or procedures for review by management. Examples of this could include:
-Experience with composing policies or regulations regarding emergency management and planning, continuity of operation, and continuity of government or corporate activities, in conjunction with best practices, for review and adoption by higher authorities. OR
-Experience with participating in process improvement and team building or leading a leg or major component of a project. OR
-Experience training staff in emergency preparedness.
Time in Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks. For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
