Qualification Summary
** As required by Executive Order 14043, Federal employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee’s duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law. If selected, you will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit documentation of proof of vaccination by November 22, 2021 or before appointment or onboarding with the agency, if after November 22. The agency will provide additional information regarding what information or documentation will be needed and how you can request of the agency a legally required exception from this requirement. **
_________________________________________________________________ To qualify for this position at the GS-12 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level obtained in the public sector. (Specialized experience is paid or unpaid experience which has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.) Examples of specialized experience include such duties as: providing administrative support for a division; managing multiple programs; preparing and/or reviewing written correspondence; coordinating, analyzing, and evaluating administrative duties; preparing briefings, agendas, presentations, and other high-level documents in support of assigned projects; developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal staff, leadership, stakeholders and customers; and knowledge of administrative practices, methods, and techniques to provide liaison services for procurement and contracting, supplies, property and office moves. OR To qualify for this position at the GS-12 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level obtained in the public sector. (Specialized experience is paid or unpaid experience which has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.) Examples of specialized experience include such duties as: Assisting in the development of the Division’s administrative and personnel policies or procedures; Performing personnel functions such as staffing, recruitment, and placement; Reviewing and analyzing data needed to forecast funding for assigned budgets of an organization; AND Assisting in reviewing and evaluating administrative and financial programs and procedures to identify weaknesses or deficiencies and recommend solutions. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade level (or equivalent).
