In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Training and experience which provides a practical knowledge of foods and nutrition and early childhood development as it relates to nutrition. Ability to apply specialized, detailed guidelines, to assist with the training program, and to become an authoritative source of information of CACFP. Be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to perform mathematical computations; must be familiar with the use of computers; must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend while conducting inspections. Periodic driving is required.
