In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized Supervisory Staff Accountant experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service administering and providing direction and management control of financial and accounting policies, technical guidance and leadership for naval supply activities. Specific work experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Provide provisioning, cataloging, inventory management, distribution, material handling, traffic management, transportation, packaging preservation, receipt, storage and issue functions, and disposal functions; 2) Advise senior managers on the development, implementation, and revision of financial management and accounting policies, plans, and programs to facilitate the effective, efficient and timely application of financial resources in accomplishing the mission; 3) Recommend and implement new and revised financial management and accounting concepts, internal controls, methodologies, policies, and strategies in support of organizational programs; 4) Conduct management evaluation of issues for financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, and alternatives for corrective action Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
