Qualification Summary
Overall trade experience including, painting, electrical, plumbing, and electronic door lock system. Requires three years of documented work experience that demonstrates knowledge of basic principles, concepts, standards, regulations and administration related to maintenance operations. Professional knowledge of lodging organization, administration, policies/procedures, and supervisory practices in conducting day-to-day operations. Must be skilled in the use of a personal computer and various software programs, including knowledge of the property management system. Must possess basic math and reading skills along with the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. This position is subject to satisfactory completion of a national background check. Incumbent is expected to obtain certification for maintenance operations and other requirements outlined in the Lodging Career Path Guide. As required by Executive Order 14043, Federal employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee’s duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law. If selected, you will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit documentation of proof of vaccination by November 22, 2021 or before appointment or onboarding with CNIC, if after November 22. CNIC will provide additional information regarding what information or documentation will be needed and how you can request of CNIC a legally required exception from this requirement.”
