The Screen-out Element for this position is: THE ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION: Making precise load placements where exact movements must be made to position the load accurately and safely. Making rapid lift capacity judgements during continual position changes. Operating near, or at, a crane’s lifting capacity within congested areas. Directing the work of other workers, such as oilers. Operating a crane to move heavy equipment and machinery, ship structures and components, steel beams, and/or lumber. Maintaining crane equipment and cleaning working parts of a crane.
