Qualification Summary
Max Military Grade: Lt Col (O5)
current Officer (O1-O5) or eligible and willing to become an officer in the ND Air National Guard.
Compatible Military Assignments: 31PX
AFSC is not a disqualifying factor of eligibility, however, selected applicant must obtain the compatible AFSC.
Please work with the 119th Base Training Office or unit Admin NCO on ASVAB and Officer eligibility questions. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months experience in the Security career field or intelligence career field to include technical training schools and drill-status working experience. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess the specialized experience or training in developing, implementing, and managing the Wing’s law enforcement, physical security, wing security, and Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection programs; Knowledge of Air Force security concepts, principles, and practices to review, independently analyze, and resolve complex security problems; Competent knowledge of all Air Force and Air National Guard security and law enforcement programs; Capable of providing senior-level technical expertise and advice for new developments and advances in security techniques; Possess communication skills to develop organizational working relationships and able to manage program segments with diverse military, civilian, professional, and technical populations; and Provides broad policy guidance and direction based on wing and Air Force priorities and objectives.
