Qualification Summary
To qualify for the position of Grant Management Specialist, (GS-1109-11/12), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience and/or Education: To qualify for the GS-11 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties: Assisting with intervention and prevention programs that address violence against women or other similar victim and family prevention and protection programs; Complete procedural tasks related to the grants administration process, such as assisting with preparing and tracking grants/assistance awards; and Ensure that grant rules and regulations are followed and applied consistently. OR PhD., or equivalent doctoral degree; or three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related, or some specialized experience as described above, but less than one year; and have more than two years but less than three years of education as described above To qualify for the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties: Advising on intervention and prevention programs that address violence against women or other similar victim and family prevention and protection programs; Developing support programs for domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking and/or similar victim and family support programs; Providing advice and guidance on a variety of grant management policies, regulations, procedures, and practices; evaluating grantee and/or awardee performance and compliance; and Ensuring that grant rules and regulations are followed and applied consistently.
