Qualification Summary
This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: This position requires demonstrated experience in media relations and journalistic expertise for engagement with the news media, specialized groups, and the general public in order to provide clear language free of jargon and accurate explanations of complex administrative, technical, and scientific issues. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05/10) or pay band (NO-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: (1) Developing and executing a strategy and process for integrated distribution on multimedia content on internal and external channels; (2) Developing news and press releases; (3) Developing and briefing campaign plans to upper management; (4) Generating compelling, tailored content to release on organization’s multimedia platforms to communicate the mission to internal and external audience; (5) Effectively communicate complex information orally and in writing.
