The GS-13 salary range starts at $92,143per year.If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience developing marketing communications for a diverse group of commodities; consulting and advising on design, layout, positioning, target marketing, objective setting and strategy development; applying analytical and evaluative methods to determine appropriate program evaluation and measurement techniques; performing budget analysis; and providing technical support to contracting officers. Condition of Employment: May be required to participate in the Region’s Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), representing the Service and/or the Agency as a whole. Participates in COOP meetings and planning activities with other senior GSA staff. Carries out mission-critical work at a designated location other than the traditional GSA office site (which may be outside of the commuting area) to ensure Agency needs are still being met in the event of an emergency, disaster or otherwise unforeseen circumstance disrupting traditional office operations.
