Qualification Summary
This position has a Selective Placement Factor (SPF) which is current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) in any state, District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. If you meet this requirement, you MUST provide a copy of your current registration with expiration with your application. Note – a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date on it will not serve to verify this requirement. In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of Facilities Management for planning, design, development, acquisition, and construction requirements for the public works department; 2) Formulating a facilities maintenance budget that includes projections of workload, manpower, overhead costs, and revenues; 3) Implementing Working Capital Funds and General Funds standards, policies, guidance, and resources to achieve mission objectives; and 4) Monitoring Public Works and Facilities metrics to ensure quality of products and support services.
