The hit movie starred Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, Zeenat Aman, Amrish Puri, Prem Chopra, Paintal, Pran, Helen, etc.
Vijay Varma (Amitabh Bachchan) and Ravi Kapoor (Shatrughan Sinha) are the best of friends, who studied in the same school. During an event involving past students, they are introduced by their school principal (Gajanan Jagirdar) and they sing this song, which they had written and composed, themselves.

The video opens with Gajanan Jagirdar introducing the 2 friends – Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha. The music begins and the young men nudge each other to begin the song. Finally, Shatrughan Sinha begins the song and the other actor joins him in it.
They have orchestral accompaniment on the stage itself. 2 kids bring them flowers, which they give to Gajanan Jagirdar and touch his feet, reverently. The song and the video end abruptly there.
Mohammad Rafi and Kishore Kumar sing for Shatrughan Sinha and Amitabh Bachchan. Other actors like Gajanan Jagirdar are also present in the video.
This typical filmi song is sung during an event at the leading actors’ school. The song and the artists are good. The video is watchable for the same.
