Qualification Summary

An applicant’s eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 09/27/2021 Business Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in related degree program is desirable. Must have a substantial knowledge of Child and Youth program with a minimum of one year experience in fund-raising field, sales/marketing with youth programs and/or recreation activities. Strong leadership abilities, possessing maturity, good judgement, and like working with youth. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Youth Program staff, chain of command, volunteers, community groups, and other related agencies. Working knowledge of computers and common software (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and be able to prepare presentations as well as performing administrative functions to include preparation, proof-reading, and editing of correspondence.
