Qualification Summary
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-15 LEVEL: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes experience working a wide range of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, qualitative and quantitative, sufficient to accomplish complex projects or studies broad in scope and magnitude. Experience applying a full range of Federal laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the segment(s) of the Service’s program affected by the assigned project or study; experience with the overall mission, objectives, functions, policies, and organizational structure of the Internal Revenue Service; experience using management principles and processes to perform program or project management duties and to effectively coordinate and integrate program or project objectives and recommendations; experience in directing the work of others and to maintain harmonious relationships with all parties, & experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing with Leadership at all managerial and technical levels. In addition, to be qualified for this position at this grade level, you must have experience leading or providing key support for enterprise or corporate level programs or projects that meet strategic program plans, objectives and goals. Your resume must indicate experience working and using the principles and applications of project management, requirements management and managing requirements of the Federal Information Systems Management Act for moderate or high-risk systems for enterprise or corporate level programs or projects. AND MEET TIME IN GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT: For positions above the GS-05, applicants must meet applicable time-in-­grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year (52 weeks) at the next lower grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the grade you are applying for. Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis.
