Qualification Summary
GS-14:Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Service.Specialized experience is experience in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled, and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform duties of the position.
Specialized experience is experience performing federally funded workforce development activities. Applicants must have ALLthe below described specialized below. This experience must demonstrate each of the following: Experience with managing all aspects of workforce development grant programs, policies, legislation and regulations.
Experience managing multiple grant programs, projects and priorities to successful completion.
Experience leading a team made up of individuals with varying skills and experience and applying coaching and mentoring techniques to enhance individual performance and team outcomes.
Experience working collaboratively and maintaining cooperative relationships with officials in Federal, state, and local government agencies.
Experience writing and reviewing monitoring reports, briefing documents, and other general correspondence, to ensure technical and grammatical accuracy and clarity.
Experience conducting oversight of workforce development grant programs and providing guidance and technical assistance, accordingly.
Experience setting goals and objectives, leading staff /team members to accomplish goals, monitoring progress, and evaluating final outcomes.
